GOALS congratulates its former President Dr. Sonja Martin Poole who was elected as the new president of the University of San Francisco Faculty Association, Full-Time (USFFA-FT). Pool is the first woman and person of color to hold the position of president since its founding in 1975. As stated in her ballot letter, “The USFFA-FT is not just about pay and benefit, it’s about the core values of our university.” She further stated, “I know that the best way to protect these values and the students we serve is to stand together.” Congratulations Dr. Sonja Martin Poole!
